Why join the International Association of Forensic Linguists?
Members of the International Association of Forensic Linguists join a community interested in all aspects of the investigation of language and the law. The Association organises international conferences and members are entitled to discounted rates at those conferences. Furthermore, all members receive, at no extra cost, copies of the International Journal of Speech, Language and the Law (Formerly The Journal of Forensic Linguistics) and electronic access to back issues of The Journal from volume 5 onwards.
How do I join the International Association of Forensic Linguists?
In order to join the Association please print out and complete the membership application form. You are welcome to pay by cheque or bank transfer depending on your currency area. Details of payment methods in each area are provided at the bottom of the form. You should read the details of payment methods for your payment area before completing the form.
IAFL has two classes of membership: Full Membership and, at a slightly discounted rate, Student Membership. All members receive subscriptions to the journal, Forensic Linguistics.
